Thank you

Thanks for all the memories we shared,Thanks for all the smiles you gave,
Thanks for listening to what I have to say,
I couldn't ask for anybody more brave.

Thanks for taking me under your wing.
Thanks for accepting me for who I am.
Thanks for not caring about what anyone thought,
Especially what the opinions were of them.

Thanks for never leaving my side.
Thanks for always caring about my happiness.
Thanks for all the memories that are still to come,
and how just thinking about you leaves me stunned, breathless.

    That is really good. I love it! the great part is i can be taken in different ways depending on what it means to you personally.

    Julie- i like how this is a thank you letter and that it could be to anyone, not just one person. the last line really ties the piece together.

    Hey Julie! What a beautiful poem! I loved everything about it, but I have a suggestion for you: maybe instead of just saying 'thanks,' maybe say 'thank you,' to make it more personal!
